Peru

I’m doing a solo trip to Peru. The country? Pretty safe, even in 3rd world state. My Spanish? Meh. Google translate? No, data plan is re-donk-a-donk. I’m not scared, just a little uncertain about logistics: taxi from Airport to Airbnb after midnight, taxi to bus station next night, overnight bus for 8 hours climbing to 10,000 feet to Huarez, Peru. Long bus back down to Lima (supposedly these buses do hairpin turns on cliffs. Fuuuck). Flight to Cusco. 30 min taxi to train station. Train to Machu Picchu. Taxi to Airbnb then flight from Cusco back to Lima. Then back to the states. Altitude sickness is my main concern.
I’m not going to be careless but I do plan on carrying a fuck it attitude, so I can live in the moment and take it all in. More than anything this is a solo journey of trust. The skills I gain from this I plan on turning and using in life for the Greater Good, as this planet can use as much light as possible.
I move forward in faith.
